The Street and Field operations of the Public Works – Maintenance Services Division is responsible for conducting emergency repairs as well as regular maintenance of over 400 miles of sidewalks and 350 miles of city roadways. This encompasses filling in and patching potholes, repairing broken concrete on sidewalks and pouring new curbs and street gutters, as well as stabilizing (“make-safe”) trip and fall hazards from lifted sidewalks.

The Street and Field section is dedicated to a rapid response practice to help ensure residents of Glendale are safe and mobile.
