Project Scope:

This project will synchronize traffic signals along Foothill Boulevard between Lowell Avenue and Crown Avenue. It includes upgrading intersections along the corridor to allow for synchronization as well as upgrades requested by the Cities involved. This project is part of the Countywide Traffic Signal Synchronization Program (TSSP) that aims to reduce delays along corridors and vehicle emissions by reducing idling times.

The TSSP project will significantly reduce delays and accidents, thereby improving motorists' driving experience, reduce pollution and operational costs.

Along Foothill Boulevard between Lowell Avenue and Crown Avenue in the Cities of Glendale, La Canada Flintridge, Los Angeles and in the Unincorporated Community of La Crescenta-Montrose

Total Project: $4,000,000

Construction: $2,300,000

Economic Impact:

Project construction supports direct and indirect jobs.
