Scope of Work/Project Overview
The Citywide Traffic and Mobility Study will:
- Provide recommendations to maintain traffic flow and circulation while enhancing active modes of travel – such as walking, biking and taking transit
- Evaluate existing and near-term future traffic conditions
- Evaluate lane reconfiguration alternatives identified in the Bicycle Transportation Plan
- Use the Study’s analysis, along with community feedback, to guide Glendale policy and projects for years to come

Project Status
- Comprehensive citywide traffic counts at intersections with traffic signals, all-way stop controlled intersections, and major arterial street segments have been conducted
- Traffic Flow model is in development
- Community Outreach plan has been initiated
- Emergency vehicle response map is in development.
