πŸ“š How the Book Rescue Works:

Give your books, movies, and albums a second life!

Bring your gently used books and media. You choose where your items go -- pick from several sustainability-focused charitable organizations, and our volunteers will handle the rest.

High-Demand and Welcome Items:

Kids/Teens: Picture/board books, early readers, graphic novels, biographies, YA, fantasy, and sci-fi

Adults: Mystery, sci-fi/fantasy, biographies, spiritual, poetry, and self-help

Media:  CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays, LPs, and VHS/Audio Cassettes (in original cases)

All languages!

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:

Tattered, stained, moldy, or heavily damaged items; textbooks older than five years; encyclopedia sets or law libraries; single-use items (coloring, activity, or sticker books)

Keep books out of landfills β€” and put them in readers’ hands!

🌟Volunteer Opportunity:

You can enjoy the fair and volunteer during the event!

We are looking for people to help us with games, logistics as well as the Office of Sustainability table. Tasks will include taking photos/videos, as well as help with event clean-up/set-up and more.

If you're interested, please sign-up here!

We greatly appreciate any help!
