About Brand Library
Brand Library & Art Center has been a cornerstone for the arts in Southern California since 1956. This unique public library focuses on visual arts and music and provides free services and programs for a diverse community, including a collection of over 110,000 items, subject specialist librarians, exhibitions, concerts, lectures, dance performances, films, and hands-on craft programs for children and adults. Always evolving, Brand Library utilizes new technologies and continues to develop innovative programs to serve an ever-widening public interested in the arts. Brand Library & Art Center is a branch of the City of Glendale Library, Arts & Culture Department.
In 1956 Brand Library & Art Center opened to the public in Miradero, the beautiful home of Glendale pioneer Leslie C. Brand, and has been serving music and art lovers from across Southern California ever since.

A ramp entrance and accessible parking for cars with a disabled person parking placard or license plate is located on the East side of Brand Library. To access the designated spaces, drive around to the rear of the building and enter the small parking lot. Make a right turn after you pass the loading dock; parking will be on your right, in front of the ramp that leads to the breezeway entry. There are additional spaces at the rear of the building near the loading dock doors.
