Please be aware:
Submission of an application does not guarantee selection or funding allocation for a project proposal.
Once submitted, the application and any attachments become the property of the City of Glendale.

The City of Glendale is not responsible for:
Lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged, or misdirected applications, videos, or sound files; Applications, videos, or sound files not received for any reason; or server unavailability; or computer or other electronic malfunction.

Applicants who submit their proposal application on or before May 18, 2020, 5:00 p.m., will be the first group for consideration.  Applicants who submit their proposal application on or before June 12, 2020, 5:00 p.m. will be the second group for consideration. 

The City of Glendale Library, Arts and Culture will accept submissions on an ongoing basis until August 31, 2020, or until the allocated budget has been exhausted, whichever happens first. 

Please note that applications will remain on file for funding consideration until August 31, 2020, therefore please do not re-submit an application unless the applicant is proposing a different project for consideration.

Submissions will only be considered through the online application process. Please do not mail hard copy proposals.

PROPOSED ARTWORK INFORMATION

Please tell us about your proposed artwork. The artwork may be visual, musical, performance-based, social, experiential, environmental, sensory, streetscape/mural art — all delivery methods will be considered. Please include the title of the work, media or delivery method, concept description, temporary installation, one-time installation or performance, or a series of installations or performances, dimensions, weight, materials used, maintenance requirements, technical and space requirements (i.e., electricity, vertical clearance), proposed start and end dates, and a statement of value for the artwork(s) (maximum value of $5,000 per artwork).

Please provide a resume or biography outlining your experience (including education)

PROJECT BUDGET

Please provide a breakdown of costs associated with the project (ex. materials, labor, etc.). Project budget allocations range from $3,000 - $15,000.

AUTHORIZATION OF ARTWORK

If an individual is proposing to exhibit multiple works by various artists, written authorization by individual artists or rights of ownership should be submitted, if applicable.
