Project Details

The estimated capacity of the Glendale Central Library – Rooftop Solar Project is 400 kW. This solar array is estimated to produce approximately 650 thousand kWh/year of clean solar energy. That is equivalent to powering 89 homes annually.

Project Activity

November 2024: Completion of all plan reviews and permit issued.

December 2024: Project mobilization and material deliveries in progress. 

January 2025: Began installation of racking and solar panels.

February 2025: Continued installation of racking, solar panels, and inverters. Racking and solar panel delivery completed.

March 2025: Continued installation of racking, solar panels, and anchor attachments. Inverter installation completed.

April 2025: Completed racking, solar panel, and anchor attachment installation. Began substructure work for electric switchgear and transformer pad.
