How to register for an energy management account:

Navigate to the account creation page at gwp.opower.com/ei/x/create-account
a. You may also navigate to the main login page at gwp.opower.com, and click the link ‘Don’t have an account? Create one’ -
With your bill handy, enter your GWP Customer ID, excluding leading zeros, and your name or business name as it appears on your bill.

Create your web login by entering an email address and password.

Data Browser: allows business customers to visualize and explore their energy use trends and costs.

Green Button – Download My Data: Business customers can select the Green Button link to download their billing or AMI data to CSV or XML formats.

Demand Heatmap: displays a business customer's demand data (kW) to see when they draw the most energy from the grid, to identify any anomalies, and to consider if and how to lower their demand during those times in the future.

Bill comparison: allows business customers to compare their current bill to their previous bill, or to the same bill period from the previous year and highlights factors (such as weather or rate plan changes) that may have contributed to differences between the compared bills.

Usage forecast: shows business customers their energy use or cost so far in the billing period, projected total energy use for their bill period, and typical energy use for the period based on their past energy use. The forecast informs customers before the end of the billing cycle if they are likely to have high energy use or cost compared to the same time period from the previous year.

The business Profile allows business customers to enter information about their businesses to provide personalized energy use insights.

Customers can view their usage at the bill, day, and hourly view as well as compare their last bill to previous bills. Energy usage data is also easily downloadable through the green button download on the bottom right hand corner.

How Businesses Use Energy feature allows small and medium business customers to see an estimated annual breakdown of energy use categories (such as heating, cooling, lighting, refrigeration, and so on) based on primary business type or activity (such as education, healthcare, retail, or restaurant).

Ways to save provides a selection of energy tips that businesses can follow to lower their usage and save money. Business customers can view applicable tips by browsing the provided tips guides or by selecting filters to identify all available tips that meet the filter criteria.

Weekly Energy Updates (sent only to customers with one premise)
Weekly Energy Updates are email reports sent to business customers every week to inform them of their energy usage patterns, trends, and projected energy costs. With these emails, business customers can better understand how their actions correspond to their utility bills, get a preview of their bills, and get helpful insights on how to adjust their energy usage. For more personalized tips, fill out your business profile.

High Bill Alerts (sent only to customers with one premise)
High Bill Alerts inform business customers before the end of a billing cycle that they are likely to have high use or a high bill for the current billing period. Business customers can then use the tips provided in the alert to reduce their consumption before the billing period ends.Personalized Threshold: Customers can set to set a personalized minimum percent usage that they must reach before they receive a high bill alert.
