The 2026 Being Water Wise Is...Student Art Contest is Now Open!

Open to students in grades K–12 residing within GWP’s service area.

Create artwork portraying the theme “Being Water Wise Is..” for a chance to be featured in MWD’s 2027 Calendar and win prizes.

  • A “short” water message may be included on the artwork (not necessarily the words of the theme/topic). The less text the better.

  • Artwork may depict water-wise use at home, school, community, business, industry, nature, agriculture, recreation, and/or hygiene. Emphasize conservation, stewardship, and climate change impacts.

  • Artwork must be scanned and submitted as a high-quality TIF file (300 dpi) or high-quality PDF file (min. 240 ppi or 5 MP) via email, AND the original artwork mailed or delivered to our office.

Deadline to submit artwork: May 1, 2026
