GWP offers a courtesy review of your project to make your water needs as smooth as possible. 

Getting Started:

• Draft your design with an architect, engineer, contractor, or yourself.
  • Make sure all applicants have the same plans after obtaining every revised vision.
• Determine if a Review by GWP Water team is required.  If your project requires changes or upgrades to the water service(s) additional review(s) and approval(s) is required from GWP.
• Verify the whereabouts of all existing and new utility services.
  • Clearances are required by all utility providers.
• Obtain the calculations required to determine the size of water service(s) required.
  • Please download a copy of the GWP Water Engineering Checklist and email it with your proposed plans.

Once your plans have been emailed to WaterEngineeringInfo@GlendaleCA.gov, your project will be evaluated to ensure that GWP Code of Ordinances conditions are met.  If your project requires any changes to your water service(s), additional review is required from GWP.   

In-person reviews are acceptable by visiting the GWP Counter located at 141 N. Glendale Avenue, Level 4 Suite 420, Glendale California 91206.  The counter is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
