Maryland Paseo Survey Released
Glendale, CA - On August 29th, 2016 the City of Glendale launched a pilot program in an effort to activate Maryland Avenue and increase pedestrian traffic by closing Maryland Avenue between Wilson and Broadway. The aim was to create a pedestrian friendly paseo.
Now that the pilot project has come to an end, the Glendale Economic Development Corporation is looking to make recommendations to the City Council and explore next steps related to the closure. In an effort to enhance the Maryland Paseo, Glendale Economic Development Corporation is soliciting additional feedback from businesses in terms of the positive and negative impacts they experienced in the duration of the closure. A link to the survey can be found here. The survey will remain open from February 1, 2017 to February 15, 2017.
