Glendale Fire Department Public Education
An essential component of the Glendale Fire Department’s vision of “Courtesy & Service” is through community education related to life safety, environmental protection, and property conservation.
Public Education Activities
Our Public Education Office schedules the following activities for youth. The list is not exhaustive:
- Fire Station Visits
- Fire Apparatus Demonstrations
- Special Community Event Participation
- Recruitment Fairs
- Public Education Events
- Fire Safety Demonstrations
Guidelines for Public Education Requests
- To request an event, email CLOGFD@GlendaleCA.gov.
- Requests must be submitted at least 3 weeks in advance.
- Please provide multiple date and time options.
- Events must be within Glendale and open to ages 6+ (1st grade and higher).
- No birthday or personal parties.
- Educational opportunities for businesses are available upon request.
