The City of Glendale is seeking qualified applicants to manage the historic Alex Theatre, a world-class performing arts and entertainment center and an anchor for the City’s vibrant downtown and Art & Entertainment District.
The submission deadline for the RFP is Thursday, March 18, 2021, at 5 pm.

The City’s anticipated schedule for the selection of a qualified operator is as follows:
- January 28, 2021 – Deadline to RSVP for Pre-Bid Conference. (Contact JBandek@glendaleca.gov to RSVP)
- January 29, 2021 - Virtual Tour to be Posted on RFP Site
- Virtual Guided Tour (VIDEO) updated 01/30/2021
- February 1-2 2021 – Pre-Bid Conference and site tour held from 10 am to Noon.
- AMENDED on 01/14/2021: Due to COVID-19 health orders, the Pre-Bid Conference and Tour has been changed to a virtual format. The Pre-Bid date has been limited to only one day (02/01/21) between 10 am to noon and will be virtual. Pre-registration is still required. Please refer to page 10 of the amended RFP above for more details.
