City of Glendale to Host Annual Earth Day Fair at Verdugo Park
Glendale, CA — The City of Glendale will host its annual Earth Day Fair on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Verdugo Park. This free, family-friendly community event celebrates sustainability and environmental stewardship, offering attendees a variety of engaging activities, educational opportunities, and ways to connect with local organizations.
Community members are invited to explore interactive booths, participate in hands-on activities, and learn practical ways to reduce waste, conserve resources, and care for the environment. This year’s event will also feature mobile pet adoptions with Pasadena Humane and Glendale’s first-ever Book Rescue, an initiative designed to give gently used books and media a second life by connecting them with sustainability-focused charitable organizations.
Additional highlights include a city electric heavy-duty fleet display, a mobile petting zoo, wildlife and environmental education exhibits, and a variety of activities for children such as face painting and a bubble-making station. Local businesses, student groups, and community organizations will also be present to share resources and showcase sustainability efforts.
The Earth Day Fair will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Verdugo Park, located at 1621 Canada Blvd., Glendale, CA 91208.
