Community Partners Host Annual MLK Community Breakfast
Honoring the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Glendale, CA - The City of Glendale, in partnership with local community organizations, invites residents to attend a Community Breakfast celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This gathering brings the community together to reflect on Dr. King’s enduring message of unity, service, and collective responsibility.
The MLK Community Breakfast serves as an opportunity for neighbors, leaders, and community partners to come together in the spirit of dialogue and connection, honoring Dr. King’s vision of a more just, inclusive, and compassionate society. Attendees will enjoy a morning of reflection and inspiration.
The program will feature a keynote address by Shannon Bradley, Chief Health Equity, Inclusion & Community Officer for Keck Medicine of USC, who will speak on how Dr. King’s principles continue to guide and inspire meaningful progress today.
This community event is made possible through the generous support and collaboration of the YMCA of Glendale, Glendale Memorial Hospital – Dignity Health, Glendale Elks Lodge #1289, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, Adventist Health Glendale, the Filipino-American Business Association of Glendale, YWCA of Glendale & Pasadena, the YMCA of the Foothills, and the City of Glendale.
