Glendale Seeks Community Input on Economic Strategic Plan

Glendale, CA – The City of Glendale’s Economic Development Division (EDD) is seeking community input as it updates its 3-Year Economic Development Strategic Plan, which will guide the City’s economic priorities and initiatives from 2026 through 2029.

“This plan will help us strengthen our local economy, support small businesses, and identify new opportunities to enhance Glendale’s long-term prosperity,” said Bradley Calvert, Community Development Director. “The voices of our businesses and residents are essential in shaping Glendale’s economic future.”

“Our last Economic Development Strategic Plan laid a strong foundation for growth, and we’re proud of the progress made, from launching beneficial programs like the free HR hotline, to hosting the highly anticipated annual Small Business Summit. This next phase builds on that momentum to ensure Glendale remains a vibrant place to do business” said Soua Vang, Deputy Director of Economic Development.

To ensure the plan reflects the community’s needs, Glendale is gathering feedback from local businesses, regional partners, nonprofit organizations, and residents. Input collected through a brief survey will help the City better understand Glendale’s current economic landscape and identify opportunities for future growth, strengthening the city’s economic development efforts to support local businesses and attract new ones.

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Please share your thoughts by Friday, January 16, 2026.
