CELEBRATE DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS AT GLENDALE CENTRAL LIBRARY
Glendale, CA — The City of Glendale and Glendale Library, Arts & Culture present the annual Día de Los Muertos celebration Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Glendale Central Library (222 E. Harvard St.). This free, family-friendly event invites the community to honor loved ones and celebrate life through music, dance, storytelling and cultural activities. Día de Los Muertos is a Mexican tradition observed globally, celebrating the enduring bonds between the living and the departed. The event features performances and hands-on experiences for all ages.
Schedule & Activities:
3:00 pm - 6:00 PM - Face painting/Maquillaje de Calavera
3:30 pm - 4:00 pm – Bilingual Storytime/Hora de cuentos bilingüe
4:00 pm -Opening Remarks/Palabras de apertura

This event is presented as part of the library’s Be the Change series. The Be the Change series strives to build a collective understanding of systemic racism, elevate Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) voices and stories, and inspire our community to be the change through lectures, exhibits, and programming.
