City of Glendale Releases 2025 Community Satisfaction Survey Results: Residents Report High Quality of Life and City Services
Glendale, CA — The City of Glendale is proud to announce the results of the 2025 Community Satisfaction Survey, which shows strong public satisfaction with the quality of life, safety, and city services. The findings were presented to the Glendale City Council on Tuesday evening, June 3, 2025.
According to the independent, statistically valid survey, 8 out of 10 residents describe Glendale as an “excellent” or “pretty good” place to live. An equal number—8 out of 10—are also satisfied with the City’s overall performance in delivering services to the community.
“These results reflect the professionalism and dedication of our city staff and the strength of our community,” said City Manager Roubik Golanian. “From public safety to clean parks and responsive emergency services, residents are experiencing first-hand the dedication of the people who serve them every day.”
Key findings from the 2025 survey include:

92% of residents feel safe in their neighborhood at night

83% feel safe in Downtown Glendale at night

77% feel safe in the park nearest their home after dark

Glendale’s top five community assets:
- A strong sense of safety
- Central location and convenient access to amenities
- Clean and well-maintained streets
- A strong sense of community
- Abundant access to parks and green space
Top-rated city services include:

Fire protection and paramedic services

911 emergency response

Trash, yard waste, and recycling pickup

Condition and maintenance of City parks
“These results affirm what we already know—Glendale is a great place to live, and that’s because of the people who serve our community every day,” said Mayor Ara Najarian. “From our first responders to our public works crews, librarians, and administrative staff, every department plays a role in making Glendale safe, clean, and welcoming. We’re proud of these results, and we remain committed to continuous improvement on behalf of our residents.”
The survey also offers valuable insight into areas for continued improvement and will help guide future decision-making on city programs and services.
