Death Investigation at Home Depot

Post Date:05/30/2025 11:56 AM

GLENDALE, CA – On Friday, May 30, 2025, at approximately 8:09 a.m., Glendale Police Officers responded to a report of a male experiencing a medical emergency in the parking lot of the Home Depot, located at 5040 San Fernando Road.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a Hispanic male in his 40s who had been pulled from a vehicle by the driver of the vehicle and a good Samaritan after showing signs of a medical emergency. Glendale Fire Department personnel responded and administered aid; however, the male was ultimately pronounced deceased at the scene.

Glendale Police Department Homicide Detectives responded and, at this time, do not suspect foul play.

During the course of the investigation, officers learned the deceased male had entered the Home Depot and was involved in a theft prior to experiencing the medical emergency. The second male, who had been driving the vehicle, left the scene before police arrived.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact the Glendale Police Department at 818-548-3987.
