City Hall to Hold Memorial Day Ceremony
Glendale, CA – The City of Glendale invites the community to attend its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26, 2025, at 9:30 AM, at the Memorial Wall outside Glendale City Hall (613 E. Broadway, Glendale, CA 91206, near the corner of E. Broadway and Isabel Street).
This event honors the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our country. It’s an opportunity for residents to come together, show respect, and express gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy today. Glendale takes special pride in this tradition; there are many City residents who have served and paid the ultimate sacrifice. They are recognized on the memorial outside Glendale City Hall and will never be forgotten.
Interim Fire Chief Jeff Brooks will serve as emcee, and Captain Tommy Nicola will deliver the keynote address. The ceremony will feature a presentation of colors, flag salute, and the national anthem. The Glendale Police Department Color Guard and Glendale Police Explorers will take part in the event, including the traditional laying of roses to honor the fallen.
Residents and families are encouraged to attend and take part in this community tribute. Light refreshments will be provided by the Glendale Elks Lodge. For more information, please contact the City of Glendale at (818) 548-4844, option 1.
