Glendale Water & Power Offers Payment Deferment Plan to Assist Federal Employees Impacted By the Government Shutdown

 

GLENDALE, California – Glendale Water & Power (GWP) announced that as the Federal Government Shutdown continues, GWP will assist its impacted customers that are furloughed Federal Employees with a payment deferment plan. This plan offers customers who experience “temporary hardships” to defer payments on a temporary basis with no late fees..

 “We want to express our support for our customers who are employed by the United States Government and are impacted by the ongoing shutdown by arranging temporary deferral and payment plans for their Municipal bills as they work through their difficulties. We encourage these customers to reach out to the GWP’s Customer Service Department at 1-855-550-4497, or GWPCustomerservice@Glendaleca.gov, and our representatives will assist them and set-up a customized plan,” stated Steve Zurn, General Manager of GWP.
