GLENDALE, California – Glendale Water & Power’s (GWP) Water Quality Report also known as the Consumer Confidence Report is now available online. The purpose of the report is to inform customers about the quality of the water GWP delivers and the importance of protecting drinking water sources.
Water sampling and testing is done continuously to verify its quality and to maintain a safe and healthy water system. Each year thousands of water samples are collected and tested by GWP staff. The test reports are electronically submitted to GWP and the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water by the laboratory when they are analyzed. GWP’s water quality continues to meet or exceed all federal, state, and local water quality standards. For more information on GWP’s Consumer Confidence Report, residents can call (818) 548–2011.
