The use of gas-powered leaf blowers is prohibited in the City of Glendale.
We're hosting an Electric Landscaping Equipment Workshop and Demo with landscaping experts and equipment companies to help residents, businesses, and landscapers find alternatives to gas-powered landscaping equipment.
We will have:
A variety of landscaping equipment companies available to view their products and talk to representatives about the tools.*
Demonstrations and testing zones where you can try out the tools without having to buy.
Raffles, food, and music.
Landscaping experts and City staff will be available to answer any questions on Glendale's gas-powered leaf blower prohibition and how to comply.

By Bus:
Metro Bus Route 90 stops at Verdugo Park at the Verdugo Park/Canada stop.
Beeline Bus routes 3, 7, 8, 31 stop at Verdugo at Town (Glendale College) and Verdugo at Civic Auditorium (Glendale College).
By Bike:
Bike parking is available at the south end of the park near the picnic benches, skate park, bathrooms, and playground.
By Metro Micro:
Verdugo Park is at the edge of the Highland Park/Eagle Rock/Glendale zone. Riders can be dropped off at Glendale Community College.
Dial-A-Ride:
If you are resident who is 65 years or older or a disabled resident who is registered with Dial-A-Ride, you can registered to be dropped off at the community center. For more information, visit GlendaleTransit.com.
By Car:
Metered parking is available at Lot 34 which is across the street from Verdugo Park, and Lot 32 which is just south of Verdugo Park and connects to the park with a bridge over the Verdugo Wash.
Street parking can be found in the neighborhood around Verdugo Park.
