National Night Out (NNO) is a community-driven event where neighbors get to know each other and share concerns, strategies, and ideas for safer communities. NNO culminates annually on the first Tuesday in August. In 2026, NNO will take place on Tuesday, August 4 from 5 PM to 7:30 PM.
The Glendale Police Department, the Glendale Fire Department, members of the Glendale City Council and City officials visited these events to hear concerns and ideas, and explore how they might work together to improve the safety of their neighborhoods.
Please join us for National Night Out at Pacific Park or join a local NNO block party near you! Enjoy police vehicles, SWAT trucks, drone demos, games, hot dogs, popsicles, and more!
Block party locations will be available in July at GlendaleNNO.com.
National Night Out is designed not only to create police and community partnership but also to:
-
Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
-
Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs
-
Strengthen neighborhood spirit
-
Send a message to criminals, letting them know neighborhoods are organized and watching out
