You’re invited to help shape the future of the N. Verdugo Road Improvement Project on Wednesday, March 18th at the Sparr Heights Community Center, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. This is the first step in the planning process for a comprehensive set of upgrades along the north-south corridor, with construction anticipated in 2027.

N. Verdugo Road Improvement Project will include pavement rehabilitation; transit improvements such as bus shelters, benches, and trash receptacles; reconstruction of curb and gutters, driveways, and sidewalks; ADA curb ramps; enhanced pedestrian crossings; traffic calming measures such as curb extensions; traffic signal upgrades; installation of landscaping and street trees; and new traffic signing and striping, including creative crosswalks.

We are seeking input on additional elements, including traffic safety improvements such as new sidewalks and bike lanes, where feasible.
