The City of Glendale, Community Services & Parks Department’s Youth and Family Services Unit presents the 2026 Glendale Unified School District (GUSD) High School Employment and Resource Fair taking place throughout March and April 2026.
This annual initiative connects students with meaningful employment, internship, and volunteer opportunities while providing direct access to career guidance and job readiness resources. The Employment and Resource Fair will be held during lunchtime at the following GUSD high schools:
- Herbert Hoover High School – Thursday, March 19, 2026
- Glendale High School – Thursday, April 2, 2026
- Clark Magnet High School – Wednesday, April 8, 2026
- Crescenta Valley High School – Thursday, April 16, 2026
Students will have the opportunity to meet and network with representatives from local government and state agencies, as well as educational institutions, including Glendale Police Department, Glendale Fire Department, California Highway Patrol, Glendale Youth Alliance, Glendale Library, Arts & Culture, Glendale Office of Sustainability, Glendale Community College, Verdugo Fire Academy, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department Lifeguard Division.
Several GUSD departments will also participate, including Child Development and Child Care (CDCC), Human Resources, and Nutrition Services.
The High School Employment and Resource Fair is designed to support youth workforce development by:
- Promoting part-time and seasonal job opportunities
- Providing information on internships and volunteer programs
- Introducing students to public service and civic career pathways
- Offering on-the-spot job readiness assistance and guidance
By bringing employers and resources directly onto school campuses, the City of Glendale aims to reduce barriers to employment access and empower students to take the next step toward their academic and professional futures.
