Did you know that having a working smoke alarm can cut the risk of dying in a home fire by 50%? That’s why the American Red Cross, along with fire departments, local volunteers, and community partners, is launching the Sound the Alarm campaign in Glendale.
As part of this vital fire safety initiative, volunteers will visit homes to install free smoke alarms and provide essential home fire safety education. The entire appointment will take about 30 minutes — a small amount of time that could make a life-saving difference.
Visit RedCross.org/LAHomeFire or call (310) 445-9914 to reserve your spot.
