Alison and her dynamic quintet will re-imagine and recharge works by artists including Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Cole Porter, Rogers and Hammerstein, and the Beatles, as well as present several original numbers. Their sound is a combination of earthy, ethereal, soulful, and bold, and the audience is guaranteed to be taken on a most uplifting adventure. Alison has been described as, "a singer with a hauntingly beautiful voice who transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary with brilliant arrangements and vocal experimentation." She recently released her debut solo album, Seven, to much national and international acclaim.

Seating is limited and first come first served, no reserved seating. The Plaza seats 75 - 90 people for a performance; visitors are welcome to bring a chair or blanket and sit on the grassy hillsides in Brand Park. Performances run between 60 and 90 minutes without intermission.


The City of Glendale’s Performance Series began in 2014 to celebrate the renovation and reopening of the historic Brand Library & Art Center. The Brand Library & Art Center provides a free cultural asset to residents and attracts visitors to experience arts and cultural opportunities in the city. This Performance Series is designed to support arts organizations and to bring distinguished cultural programming to Glendale. The Performance Series is supported by the City of Glendale and the Glendale Arts & Culture Commission, with funding from the Urban Art Program and the Brand Associates.
