Other Mother Brother Band is an eclectic progressive instrumental group based out of Los Angeles. OMBB weaves together influences from bluegrass, world, Latin jazz, reggae, rock, funk and classical music to form their unique sound that has delighted audiences from Southern California to Yosemite to Colorado. OMMB began in 2008 when the group of dedicated musicians came together to play music that inspires them. Consistent gigging and local residencies gave them a chance to develop their sound and build a following of folks who get down to their toe-tapping, make-your-body-move instrumentals. No two OMBB shows are alike as each of these five stellar musicians gets a chance to shine in the spotlight. The band boasts 2-time Bass Player of the Year and nominations for Best Instrumental Band and Best Instrumental Album (LA Music Awards). Instrumentals by Instrumentalists. Lots of original flavor... constantly creating melodies and covering some of their favorites. Read more at http://ombbmusic.wixsite.com/ombb
