GWP’s Smart Home Energy and Water Saving Rebate Program helps our customers save money on energy and water bills by offering rebates on eligible products. Most of the eligible products must be ENERGY STAR® qualified, so look for the ENERGY STAR symbol when making your purchase. Please keep in mind the following:

You must be a Glendale Water & Power customer and the product you purchase must be installed in a Glendale residence.
Rebates will be issued in the form of a bill credit which will appear on your GWP bill in 1 to 2 billing cycles.
Applications must be submitted no more than 12 months from the date of purchase.
Rebates apply only to the products listed below.

Customers need to download the Smart Home Rebate Application, fill-it in completely, attach all necessary documents and submit via mail, fax or e-mail to:

ENERGY STAR Clothes Washer	Rebate Value
Must meet current ENERGY STAR guidelines effective Jan 1, 2011. Must have a Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 2.0 or greater and a Water Factor (WF) of 6.0 or lower. Limit 1 rebate every 5 years per customer at the same residence You may qualify for additional rebates from The Metropolitan Water District and The Southern California Gas Company.	$80 if purchased inside of Glendale $60 if purchased outside of Glendale

Must meet current ENERGY STAR guidelines effective Apr 28, 2008. Full size capacity must be 15 cubic feet or greater. Limit 1 rebate every 5 years per customer at the same residence	$80 if purchased inside of Glendale $60 if purchased outside of Glendale

ENERGY STAR Dishwasher	Rebate Value
Must meet current ENERGY STAR guidelines effective Jan 20, 2012 Limit 1 rebate every 5 years per customer at the same residence You may qualify for an additional incentive of $30 from The Southern California Gas Company.	$40 if purchased inside of Glendale $30 if purchased outside of Glendale

ENERGY STAR Room Air Conditioner	Rebate Value
Must meet current ENERGY STAR guidelines effective Oct 26, 2015 Limit 1 rebate every 5 years per customer at the same residence	$60 if purchased inside of Glendale $50 if purchased outside of Glendale

ENERGY STAR Central Air Conditioner	Rebate Value
Must meet current ENERGY STAR guidelines effective Sep 15, 2015 Must have a SEER rating of 15 or higher Limit 1 rebate every 5 years per customer at the same residence	$125 per ton if purchased inside of Glendale $100 per ton if purchased outside of Glendale

ENERGY STAR Ceiling Fan	Rebate Value
Must meet current ENERGY STAR guidelines effective Sep 1, 2006 Limit 3 rebates per customer at the same residence	$25 if purchased inside of Glendale $15 if purchased outside of Glendale

ENERGY STAR Windows	Rebate Value
Must meet current ENERGY STAR guidelines for South-Central climate zone effective Jan 4, 2010. Limit 1 rebate per customer.	$2.00 per square ft. if purchased inside of Glendale $1.00 per square ft. if purchased outside of Glendale

Whole House Fan	Rebate Value
All whole house fans qualify for a rebate. Limit 2 rebates per customer every 5 years.	$100 if purchased inside of Glendale $75 if purchased outside of Glendale

Solar Attic Fan	Rebate Value
All solar attic fans qualify for a rebate Limit 2 rebates per customer every 10 years at the same residence	$125 if purchased inside of Glendale $100 if purchased outside of Glendale

premium High Efficiency ToileT	Rebate Value
Must be a certified MaP premium toilet with a maximum capacity of 1.1 gallons per flush Limit 3 rebates per customer at the same residence See list of qualifying toilets here. You may also qualify for an additional rebate from the Metropolitan Water District.	$125 if purchased inside of Glendale $100 if purchased outside of Glendale

Must be a certified MaP premium toilet with a maximum capacity of 1.1 gallons per flush

Energy Star Pool Pump	Rebate Value
Must meet current ENERGY STAR guidelines effective Feb 15, 2013 Above group pool, pond, pool cleaner/booster, spa, and water feature pumps do not qualify for the rebate. Limit 1 rebate per customer every 5 years at the same residence	$125 if purchased inside of Glendale $100 if purchased outside of Glendale

You may qualify for additional rebates from The Metropolitan Water District and The Southern California Gas Company.
An item purchased inside of Glendale means that the appliance or product was purchased from a place of business that is physically located within the cities of Glendale, La Crescenta or Montrose as defined by U.S. Postal Service zip codes.
ENERGY STAR® qualified products meet strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the EPA and US Department of Energy. These guidelines can change each year. As an ENERGY STAR® partner, GWP will honor these updated guidelines and will follow them when processing rebates.
This program may be modified or terminated without prior notice and is provided to qualified customers on a first-come, first-served basis until program funds are no longer available.
Rebates are not guaranteed until verified.
