2017 Residential Preferential Parking Permits

Glendale residents living within an established Preferential Parking Permit District may be eligible to purchase a permit that excludes them from the posted time limits. As a reminder, vehicle displaying a valid Preferential Parking Permit are not exempt from the posted “No Parking” zones or times. If you would like to purchase permits, please click here.

The City has extended the renewal period until February 28, 2017 to allow residents ample time to submit and receive their 2017 permits. Your current 2016 preferential parking permit will be valid until February 28, 2017.

The City of Glendale has added the “Extend-by-Phone” feature to all Digital parking meters in Downtown Glendale. This feature allows customers who pay by credit card the ability to receive a reminder text that their parking is about to expire.

To Extend-by-Phone:

  1. Pay for parking at meter using credit card

  2. Enter mobile phone number when prompted

  3. Receive text message reminder prior to expiration

  4. Reply with the amount of additional time needed

Parking Meter not Working?
