Robbery - Jewel City Bowl

On April 9, 2015 at 11:10 a.m. two suspects entered the Jewel City Bowl located at 135 South Glendale Avenue. S#1 pointed a small handgun at the clerk and demanded cash. S#2 searched the office and placed items in a red plastic bag he pulled out of his pocket. Both suspects fled the building and entered the rear passenger doors of an awaiting vehicle driven by an unseen suspect. Loss was several thousand dollars in cash.

Suspect Descriptions:

S#1 Male Hispanic, 20-25 yrs, 5’8"-5’10", 180-195 lbs, mustache and red beanie

S#2  Male Hispanic, 20-25 yrs, 5’6", 130-140 lbs, mustache and goatee

Suspect Vehicle:

Older Toyota Corolla, gray, dark tint w/ purple hue

Residential Burglary - 1500 block El Miradero

On August 11, 2015, between  2:20 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., a residential burglary occurred in the 1500 block of El Miradero Avenue. Entry was made through an unlocked rear window. Many rooms were ransacked and jewelry and other personal items stolen.

On August 12, 2015, two of the victim’s stolen checks were cashed in Pasadena by the listed female suspect using a driver's license stolen from a Pasadena restaurant.

Suspect Description: 

Female Hispanic, 27-33 yrs, 5’3", 150 lbs, possible tattoo on lower back

Residential Burglary - 1400 block Allen Avenue

On November 25, 2015, between 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., a home in the 1400 block of Allen Avenue was burglarized. Entry was made through an open window. Items taken were jewelry and other personal items. The victim’s credit cards were used later that day at Target in Pasadena, Walmart in Duarte, and again at Target in Pasadena the following day.

Suspect Descriptions:

S#1: Male Hispanic or Male White, 20’S, 5’11" - 6’1", average build

S#2: Male Hispanic, 20’s, 5’6" - 5’8", average build, mustache and goatee 

S#3: Female Hispanic, 5’3" - 5’5", medium build, with possible chest tattoo

Petty Theft -  ILori Store

On December 29, 2015 at 6:35 pm, the two suspects entered the ILORI store at the Americana on Brand. The male immediately selected a pair of glasses and placed them in his pocket. The female tried on several pairs of glasses and concealed two in her purse. As they left the store, the male knocked over some glasses and placed one pair in his pocket and returned the other to the display. The suspects had with them a medium-sized white dog similar to a Boxer.

Suspect Descriptions:

S#1: Male White or Male Hispanic, 5’10", 45-53 yrs, medium build, dark hair

S#2: Female White or Hispanic, 5’3" - 5’5", 45-53 yrs, medium build, long brown hair w/ streak of grey in the front

Burglary - Three Apartment Buildings

1/8/16 - 1000 block of Western Avenue

1/8/16 - 300 block of East Stocker

1/10/16 - 200 block of West Fairview Avenue

Glendale detectives are investigating a series of burglaries and attempt burglaries involving apartment complex laundry rooms. The listed suspect forces entry through the laundry room door and opens the machine coin receptacles. 

Suspect Descriptions:

Suspect #1: Male Hispanic, 19-25 yrs, 5’10" - 6’1" - medium build, tattoo above right elbow resembling a large "2"

A second suspect is seen accompanying S#1 at one of the locations and described as a male Hispanic,  5’9" - 6’0", medium build, mustache + goatee

Suspect Vehicle:
