Central Library Renovation - Children's Room Hours start August 31
- Monday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Verdugo Park, Saturday, October 10, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Enjoy a fun-filled walk around the K-9 Event in Verdugo Park and celebrate the launch of the newest StoryWalk. This year’s book is Puddle Pug by Kim Norman with illustrations by Keika Yamaguchi. Read along with the story as you stroll through the park. Stop by the library table for crafts and to meet artist Keika Yamaguchi from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Enjoy more StoryWalks! Visit the Central Library and the Pacific Park Community Center from November 2 through December 31, 2015. All ages.
One Book / One Glendale
The Fourteenth Goldsmith by Jennifer L. Holm
Tuesday, November 10, 7:00 p.m., Adult Recreation Center
Check the book out, read it and come to hear the author talk about her writing. Ms. Holm will be signing books after her presentation. Books will be on sale the at the event. This event will take place next door to the Central Library at the Adult Recreation Center.
