Brand Library & Art Center sponsors many events that are free and open to the public including art exhibitions, concerts, art & music lectures, dance events, films, computer classes, children's events and library tours.
PERFORMANCES, LECTURES & MORE
The mission of the Brand Library Art Galleries is to offer visitors a professional gallery experience by showcasing a variety of styles and media of established and emerging artists that educate, enlighten, challenge, and enrich people’s lives.
The Brand Book to Art Club combines reading, discussion, and art-making! Enjoy light refreshments, book discussion, and an art project based on themes from the book. Art supplies will be provided. Sign-up at Brand Library in-person or by email or by phone at 818-548-2051. We will supply a library copy of the book for all participants.
Hear authors discuss their latest music and visual arts-themed publications and take part in Q/A sessions. Get your copy autographed too!

This series presents top dance companies from Southern California.
This hands-on crafts program for families will give participants ages 4 and up a chance to express themselves! Kids 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Each program is limited to 20 kids plus accompanying adults.
In this unique program, local musicians and teachers make music come alive for participants 4 and older. Stay for the Musical Petting Zoo after each program and try out instruments, including drums and percussion, keyboards, guitars, wind instruments and more. LA Opera’s Community Educators, in partnership with the Opera League of Los Angeles, will present a series of talks focusing on the magical and powerful world of opera.
Enjoy summer concerts on the Brand Library Plaza, June through August, supported by the City of Glendale and the Glendale Arts & Culture Commission, with funding from the Urban Art Program and the Brand Associates.
Enjoy a film series arranged and sponsored by the Brand Associates. REEL ART features critically acclaimed independent films that explore the arts, with special guests on hand to lead post-screening discussions.
