Simple Measures Can Add Up to Big Savings

 For Your Office:

  • Replace inefficient fluorescent tube lights with new T5 or T8 high-efficiency ones to save on lighting costs
  • Install occupancy sensors in general usage areas so lights only turn on when they’re needed
  • Keep your heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems running efficiently by performing regular maintenance on filters, belts, coils and bearings

For Retail:
  • Replace incandescent exit signs with Light-Emitting Diode (LED) exit signs
  • Install times or program thermostats to power down after closing
  • Close entrance doors whenever possible to keep cold air in
  • Turn off unnecessary lights in storage areas when not in use

For Warehouses:
  • Replace high-bay lighting with high-intensity discharge lamps or high-bay fluorescent fixtures
  • Install occupancy sensors in general usage areas so lights only turn on when they’re needed
  • Install strip curtains or swing doors in walk-ins

For Restaurants:
  • Replace incandescent or halogen lamps with LED lamps
