The City of Glendale and the Glendale Unified School District (GUSD) held a community meeting regarding the Wilson Middle School Multi Purpose Field Project on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. in the Wilson Middle School Library. The proposed joint use project will replace the existing turf field with an artificial turf sports field, including field lighting and a restroom building. An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is currently being prepared to address the impacts to the neighborhood. City and GUSD staff presented the project details and schedule and asked for thoughts and comments on the scope and content of the proposed EIR.
