Glendale Relationship Initiation Team

Glendale, CA – The City of Glendale announces the creation of the Glendale Relationship Initiation Team (GRIT), a new function of the Economic Development Division.  In an effort to ensure business satisfaction with the City of Glendale, representatives from the City of Glendale, including members from the Glendale City Council, Economic Development Division, and Workforce Development Board, will be visiting businesses within the Glendale community.

Taking place monthly, the 20 minute meetings aim to gauge satisfaction in doing business with the City, County, and the State. This is also an opportunity for businesses to voice concerns or questions such as:

  • Update on the Construction Projects;
  • Expansion Plans and Related Permitting Issues with the City of Glendale;
  • Signage, Parking or Safety Issues;
  • Identifying Energy Efficiency Programs and Rebates;
  • Employee Training Funding;
  • Finding Qualified Interns and Staff;
  • Update on Economic Development strategies, such as the Glendale Tech Strategy; and
  • Marketing Opportunities and Increasing Your Company’s Exposure in Glendale.

The City of Glendale appreciates the businesses which have selected our community to call home, and want to ensure continued growth and retention within those companies. Businesses wishing to schedule a visit may contact the Economic Development Division at (818) 548-2005 or by email at
