Glendale Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen vehicle containing a valuable cello that was stored in the trunk.

On November 1, 2015, a maroon 4-door 2007 Acura ATL, was stolen from the Embassy Suites Hotel parking lot, located at 800 North Central Avenue in the City of Glendale.  In the vehicle’s trunk was a 300 year old cello.

The vehicle and cello have not been located since.

The cello is described as natural wood color, asymmetrical carbon fiber tailpiece with cut out design,  within the r/side f hole is a label “Antonio Domenicelli Fecit en Ferrara 1714 “, with scratches on the back side.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000.00 reward for information that can assist with locating the vehicle and cello.  Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the Glendale Police Department at 818-548-4911.
