GLENDALE, CA – Do you have a business idea or startup that needs funding? Do you want to learn how to pitch to VCs and funders? Our featured private equity investor will provide step by step advice to take your idea and turn it into a business with funding. You will learn how investors evaluate opportunities, how to structure your pitch, pitfalls to avoid, and more insider secrets.

Event is free but space is limited, RSVP. Tickets and parking are complimentary but registration is required.

ABOUT Armen Vartanian: The founder of Oceanview Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based private equity and advisory firm with committed capital and over half a dozen portfolio companies. Armen’s background encompasses over a decade in private equity and investment banking including substantial experience executing complex carve-out transactions and turnaround operations initiatives.

Prior to founding Oceanview Capital, Armen was the Managing Director and COO of S3 Capital, Inc., an evergreen private equity fund with over $250 million in annual revenue. Prior to joining S3 Capital, Armen was a private equity investor with Sun Capital Partners, a special situations fund with $8 billion under management. He evaluated over 150 opportunities while on the Mergers and Acquisitions team. Prior to transitioning to private equity, Armen was an Investment Banking Analyst with Lehman Brothers in Los Angeles and Citigroup in New York. As an investment banker, he was involved in the origination and execution of mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, and equity offerings across various industries.

Armen received his Masters of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with Honors, from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He currently resides in the City of Glendale and is active in the community, serving on various boards and committees.

EVENT DETAILS:  Light happy hour snacks will be provided. No host bar. Brief presentation, long post reception. Thirty minute talk starts at 5:30 p.m. Casual environment with good company and great conversation! The event is limited to 200 attendees and is close to being sold out!
