What's Happening

  • The Central Library renovation is coming into its home stretch, completing major construction elements in time for our Spring 2017 Grand Re-opening.  We “closed the curtain” at the end of the day on September 1, 2016 so that our construction crews can move into high speed until we are ready for our big reveal. We are exploring options for alternative spaces in the downtown area, however the Central Library building will be closed to the public. Read More>

TEENS Paper Circuits Challenge with The Exploratory

Practice your maker skills with the Maker Guilds of The Exploratory. Using paper and circuits, teens will design and create a game others can play!

Hunger Games Marathon
Tuesday, June 17, 2 pm, Central Library Auditorium

Watch Hunger Games and Catching Fire back to back on the library’s big screen! We’ll have a brief intermission between films. Must be 13+ to watch!

Retro Games + Wii
Tuesday, July 15,2 pm, Central Library Auditorium

Bring your friends and play old-school board games like Scrabble, checkers, and Connect 4. We’ll also hook up the Wii for play on the big screen!
